About the Don role

The Don is the leader of the mafia team. In Mafia Online he acts at night with his mafia partners, but the final call is often the Don's. Most importantly: when the detective checks the Don, he comes up 'innocent' — his strongest protection.

The Don's job

• Pick the victim with the family at night and carry out the sentence.
• Blend into the town by day and look innocent.
• Shift suspicion onto townsfolk or special roles.
• Identify the detective and doctor and remove them first.

Strengths

• Appears 'innocent' to the detective's check — can hide for a long time.
• Leads the family and coordinates the attack.
• An experienced Don can 'steer' the town to his advantage.

Weaknesses

• If family members shield him by accident, a pattern shows.
• Being too active or too calm raises suspicion.
• The Tramp may see his night movement.

Strategy for the Don

• Play naturally — sometimes accuse an innocent, sometimes agree with the right conclusion.
• When the detective reveals, don't rush; try to remove him through the town's hands.
• Coordinate with the family and split your votes apart.
• Don't claim early — if needed, claim the townsperson or even the detective role.
